I was Old Enough To Know Better but when he said, "Let's Go To Vegas." my Achy Breaky Heart told me different. Inside, I knew the Honky Tonk Truth: I was wasting my time with him.


I looked him square in the eye, "You're taking me out on the town when we get to Vegas. Mama Don't Get Dressed Up For Nothing, you know."


"Baby, we'll dance the night away. Just like the Sultans of Swing!" he promised.


I climbed the stairs to pack my bags because we were Leaving On A Jet Plane.


"Did I Shave My Legs For This?", I asked myself, "I must be Cleopatra, Queen Of Denial!"
