How can I rename song titles in iTunes? Some of my music has titles like "Track 01, 02, etc..."?

I'd like to rename them with the proper title.

Well click on the song that you want to rename and it should highlight it now right-click on it and then click on the first option u get "get info" a new screen should pop up and it has tabs like "summary" "info" "options" "lyrics" "artwork"


go to the one that says info and look on there for name its the first one at the top and then just highlight it and delete it. and re-type in the new song name.








Or u can just highlight the song, then click on the name and wait and now the name should be highlighted and delete the track one or whatever and type in the new name and just click enter same thing with the artist column and genre column
Reply:Do the following:


1. Select the song you want to rename, and make sure that the song is highlighted in dark blue after you clicked on it.


2. Go to 'Get info' under 'File' menu.


3. In the column 'Name' erase Track 1, and name it.


4. You can also right click on the song and click on 'get info' to rename it. After you renamed it, click on save.


5. The track is now renamed.
